Since 1927, Pye Homes have continued to take the same pride in the homes and communities we have built in Oxfordshire. Although many things have changed in that time, our values have stayed the same, because so much of what was true then is still true today. That way, we know your home is made for life.
We always take the same care in how we build, because that care ensures that your home is built to last. It means that everything about your home is perfectly placed, from the moment we lay the foundations, to the moment we open your door to show you around.
By combining the best innovations with designs and materials which have stood the test of time, we build in harmony with nature and the local legacy, so that new homes simply belong as part of a community, right from the start.
It means always giving the same kind of personal care and integrity that Jack Pye would recognise - if he were still here - and would be proud to acknowledge with his famous handshake.
Those values, and that same regard for legacy, has led us to join with Blenheim and to make our commitment to their Legacy Principles. Together we share a desire for progress alongside a deep-rooted sense of place and enduring connection to our neighbours and local communities.
Living by our word.
We will always be a family, and the personal touch matters to us. You?ll never deal with some faceless customer services department. You will know each of us by name, from the Site Manager to the person who welcomes you into your home.
We take great pride in our after-sales service and hold every Pye home to a high standard of specification. Our home buyers benefit from a dedicated and friendly Customer Liaison Manager, and your new home is covered under New Home Guarantee for up to two years after completion. The NHBC guarantee also covers the property structurally for a further eight years.
The Pye Customer Charter adopts the principles and good practice of the Consumer Code for home builders. This code sets requirements that house builders must meet, and you can read the code in full on our website.
What our customers say.
We had wanted to live in Long Hanborough for a number of years so we were excited when Pye Homes started building Hanborough Gate.
Our home is well built, spacious, light, and the garden catches the sun all day long. The Pye Homes team have been great and are always willing to help should a problem occur.
Hanborough Gate is located in the most perfect spot. We are privileged to have walks through the countryside, along the river and through the woods right on our doorstep. The other amenities in Long Hanborough also include a decent sized Coop, two pubs, one being the atmospheric George and Dragon which has a large beer garden, a hair salon and a bike shop which is ran by an extremely helpful chap called Tony. Although living in the countryside is great it?s nice to be able to quickly get to cities and towns. From the train station in Long Hanborough, which is a 10 minute safe cycle from Hanborough Gate, you can be in Oxford in less than 10 minutes, in reading in 40 minutes or be in London Paddington in about an hour.
Long Hanborough has great community spirit and as new residents we felt we were welcomed with open arms. One particular highlight of living in Long Hanborough is the annual musical fireworks display which is held on the playing field.
We highly recommend Pye Homes and should you decide to move to Hanborough Gate I do not think you will be disappointed.
Mr and Mrs J, Hanborough Gate Residents
We were aware of Pye?s reputation as a builder so were not surprised when we first viewed the house to see the high level of quality and finish to what is now our home.
Unlike many new developments, Hanborough Gate has been thoughtfully designed with plenty of green spaces and a feeling of openness which was important to us. It is also in a wonderful location being close to numerous walks through villages, woods and along the riverside. We can even watch deer from our bedroom window! We are also blessed with lovely neighbours. What more could you ask for?
